Karen  Kamstra and her husband Kim have lived in Maple Ridge, BC for over 29 years, along with their  two children Shane and Sara.  For over 28 years Kim has operated a Landscaping business in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area with Karen at his side.

Karen’s passion has always been birds of every shape, size and colour. When she discovered a hands-on course, for handling Birds of Prey with  Master Falconer

Gary Worley,  her passion for the Raptors flourished.

For your convenience  Raptors Ridge now offers an unforgettable experience giving you the opportunity to discover more about the wonderful world of Birds of Prey.

We are offering several different Hands-on sessions for the Bird of Prey enthusiast.

Amongst the tall timbers, fern laden forest  floor and gently flowing creek waters, come spend an hour, half the day or a full day in the company of Raptors in this, a very tranquil setting!

At Raptors Ridge we use only captive-bred and raised birds of prey. Including Red-tailed Hawks, Harris Hawks,   Owls and Falcons.

We do not believe in the taking of wild Raptors.
